God's Use of Little Things
Objects: Straight pins, a postage stamp, rubber band, paper clip, etc.

Lesson: Even though we are small and often feel unimportant, God can use each of us.

1. Little things.
2. Hungry people.
3. All of us are important.

Look at all these little things. Who would think they are very important? But take another look This pin can hold a shirt together or replace a button. This stamp can take a letter all the way across the country. The rubber band can hold many papers together. This paper clip can keep things in order.

Do you remember the story of the day when many people came to hear Jesus preach and stayed so long they became hungry. Jesus saw they were hungry. He wanted to feed them and He told His friends to give the people something to eat. His friends did not have food to feed all the hungry people. A little boy offered the lunch he had packed—just five small loaves of bread and two fish.

Jesus took that lunch and multiplied it to feed all of the people. Even though we are small and sometimes are tempted to think we are not important, all of us have much to give and all of us are important.  Just think of the love you have to give. You have smiles and hugs to share. You can be helpful. You can say kind things. And none of these things depend on your size, only the size of your heart.
